The building serves 800 students. The plan is divided into 2 wings, linked by two light filled-corridors. One wing houses 52 instructional rooms on 2 levels, and the library. The other wing houses a 900-seat spectator gym, a 700-seat auditorium, the cafeteria and administrative offices. This arrangement permits the separation of grade levels, convenient supervision of corridors, and flexibility for future expansion.

The exterior compliments the existing High School with similar masonry, metal and glass materials, creating a visually unified school campus. Both buildings are located on plateaus that overlook the athletic facilities and wooded area sited between them.
