The grades 7-12 building was renovated for the first time since a 1991 addition was placed in service. A 20-year variance was required and approved by the State.
Renovated areas include Classrooms and corridors; offices and restrooms; gym and locker rooms; performance spaces; cafeteria; science, computer and technology labs; and industrial arts and family consumer science. The exterior roof and curtain wall systems were replaced.
Additions include a new wing containing 5 classrooms, science labs, computer lab, and support spaces; an auxiliary gym (with equipment storage and mechanical/electrical room); kitchen; high school office; and fitness/weight room (with locker rooms, showers and offices). Parking and drainage improvements also took place. |
