This is a design-build project that broke ground in December 2011. This single-story masonry building provides needed space for the local Social Security Administration office, which outgrew its leased space.
The building houses the following spaces:
- Reception/Waiting area
- Local Area Network room
- Regional training center
- Interactive Video training room
- Multi-purpose room
- Offices Office cubicles
- Support spaces
The building is being placed on a tight and irregularly-shaped site. Site work includes storm water management, landscaping and parking for 40 vehicles. The exterior’s sustainable design features include: high-performance glass, combination of masonry types and colors, and symmetrical window pattern.
