The project repurposes a former automobile dealership, converting 6,662 square feet of a 10,240 square foot space into an ambulance garage and dispatch center, with new environmental systems, offices, classrooms, show room for medical supplies, showers and locker rooms, sleeping quarters, telephone and data cabling.
Specific improvements include the following:
- Replace the existing glass curtain wall with energy-efficient wall and window systems.
- New architectural stone and EIFS paneling on the exterior.
- Bring the existing building into code compliance.
The project consolidates all of McGonigle Ambulance Service’s billing, operations and dispatch facilities under one roof.
