The eCenter is a place where education, business and industry perform research and establish or grow businesses in the electronics and STEM industries.
It contains 7 incubator lab suites with open and flexible floor plans. Each has sound, environmental, electrical and communications controls, secure hallway access, and secure rear door access. The eCenter also has a dedicated testing lab; shared lobby/reception area with lunch room, restrooms, computer hub, lockers, tenant storage, and mechanical room; and a conference room with projection system, meeting room and offices.
The building is sustainable. Building materials (steel, brick, aluminum, and glass) are all drawn from the region. High ceilings expose the roof structure. Other features include natural lighting, reflective roof, geothermal system, low-maintenance, polished concrete floors and rain gardens. |
